  • Holistic nutrition is all about nourishing the body, mind, and spirit with whole, nutrient-dense foods and creating a lifestyle that supports well-being. If you’re looking for a sustainable approach to family health that goes beyond just “what to eat,” then holistic nutrition is a perfect fit for you. It’s not about quick fixes, restrictive diets, or one-size-fits-all solutions. It’s about finding what works for your unique family and creating a plan that’s manageable and enjoyable in the long run.

  • There are many health insurance plans and extended healthcare benefits which offer annual registered nutritionist coverage, for example: BlueCross, BlueShield, Canada Life, Desjardins, Great-West, Green Shield, Manulife, Sunlife. Your coverage depends on the type of plan you have with your employer, and it is important to check with your insurance provider as some exclusions may apply. Some health insurance plans may cover only a portion of the cost (e.g. 80%) while others may cover the full cost of the sessions. In addition to insurance coverage for paramedical services (where generally the registered nutritionist consultations will be found), some companies offer health spending accounts  to their employees, offering reimbursement for health related expenses, including registered nutritionists.

  • I get it! Between work, school, extracurriculars, and everything else, finding time to cook can feel impossible. That’s why I focus on practical, time-saving strategies that help you prepare nutritious meals without spending hours in the kitchen. You’ll get quick, easy recipes, meal prepping tips, and shopping lists that save time—and make healthy eating feel like a breeze. No stress, just simple, nutritious meals that work for your schedule.

  • Absolutely! Picky eating is one of the most common challenges families face, and it’s something I specialize in helping with. I’ll help you understand why picky eating happens, and together we’ll implement strategies to encourage adventurous eating without forcing anything. It’s about creating a positive mealtime experience, introducing new foods in a fun way, and respecting your child’s preferences while expanding their palate. Over time, they’ll become more comfortable with trying new foods—without the tears (for either of you!).

  • No problem! I’m experienced in working with families who have food sensitivities, allergies, or intolerances, and I’ll help you find the right alternatives that support your child’s health and nutritional needs. Whether it’s dairy, gluten, nuts, or anything else, we’ll create a plan that avoids trigger foods while still providing your family with the nutrients they need to thrive.

  • It’s totally normal for each family member to have different tastes! The key is to find common ground and create meals that can be customized to fit everyone's preferences. I’ll show you how to prepare meals where the base is the same for everyone but can be easily adjusted for different tastes, dietary needs, and preferences. The goal is to make mealtimes fun and stress-free, while also making sure each person’s nutritional needs are met.

  • Every family is different, so results will vary depending on your starting point and goals. That said, small changes add up quickly, and many families start noticing improvements within the first few weeks—whether it’s in energy levels, behavior, better digestion, or just a more relaxed approach to mealtimes. The goal is long-term, sustainable health, so we’ll focus on building habits that stick.

  • Tracking progress is part of the fun! We’ll establish clear goals from the start, whether it's improving energy, reducing stress, managing picky eating, or boosting focus. I’ll guide you on how to measure small wins along the way, so you can see the progress happening even when it feels gradual.
